National Hunt Festival

According to Wikipedia, the Cheltenham Festival is one of the "two main highlights of the National Hunt calendar" – along with the Grand National meeting.

But ... as far as I can see, the only place where it's referred to as The National Hunt Festival is on BBC Gloucestershire, which speaks of "the famous National Hunt Festival in Cheltenham". The Jockey Club likes to refer to it as The Festival, but elsewhere (as far as I can see) it's known as the Cheltenham Festival.

In everyday speech, you might well refer to the FA Cup Final as the Cup Final. But if you were asking a quiz question about it you'd give it its full title: the FA Cup Final. Or at least I hope you would!

Of course, you couldn't ask which racecourse the Cheltenham Festival was held at. But you could ask, for example: "One of the highlights of the National Hunt calendar is a festival held in March each year, at which racecourse?"
